Great PA Cleanup ::  April 24, 2004

Location: Negley Run Boulevard (Pittsburgh, PA)

 -- Over 130 volunteers collected 24.5 tons of material including 425 tires, 315 bags of recyclables, and 11 pickup truck loads of scrap

 -- Event was a project of the Pittsburgh Clean Neighborhood Collaborative (of which PRC is a member) and sponsored by Dominion Foundation, Waste Management, Starbucks Coffee Company, Giant Eagle Conservation, The East End Food Co-op, Bridgestone-Firestone, Appliance Warehouse, The Home Depot, Whole Foods Market, and Entertainment Publications

Location: Ridley Creek State Park (Newtown Square, PA)

 -- Attracted more than 115 volunteers who worked from 9am to noon to remove over 2,400 lbs of litter from the Park.

--  Event was co-sponsored by PRC and the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation: both organizations are tenants within RCSP. Fifteen organizations sponsored/supported the clean-up day event. It was a rousing success!
